Overall, my stay at Hotel Gilbert was decent, with a few highlights and a couple of drawbacks. The location was fantastic, just a short distance from the Museum Quarter. While the cleanliness of the hotel was commendable, I found the room to be a bit cramped, and the lack of air conditioning made it somewhat uncomfortable at night. The breakfast was a standout feature, with plenty of options available, though I did miss some variety in the cooked items.

The room was clean but quite small, typical for European hotels. I noticed the shower could use some renovation, and the lack of air conditioning made the heat a bit unbearable at times. Opening the window let in street noise, which made it tricky to sleep.

Most of the staff were friendly and helpful, although I had a less-than-great experience with one at check-in. It was a bit frustrating that they didn't assist with my luggage when I arrived.

The hotel is in a prime location near the Museum Quarter, making it easy to walk to various attractions. It's also accessible for public transport, but getting to the airport required some effort and multiple transfers.

Breakfast had a good variety, including fresh fruits and a juice-making station, which I loved. However, the cooked options were limited and could use improvement.

There were some helpful facilities like complimentary tea and coffee throughout the day. However, I wish there had been a fridge in the room for storing snacks and drinks, especially since I was traveling with a baby.

During my recent stay at Hotel Gilbert, the charming boutique aesthetics really stood out to me. The location is fantastic, very close to major attractions, yet I faced some discomfort with the room's temperature as air conditioning was lacking. Although the service was perfect and the staff were extremely helpful, the overall experience was slightly marred by the ongoing construction noise next door.

I found breakfast to be a bit underwhelming. Some items seemed missing or not quite fresh, prompting me to skip it after the first day.

The amenities were decent, but I felt that a fridge in the room would have been a great addition, especially during the heat. The gym was a highlight, though, offering a refreshing escape.

I had a mixed experience at Hotel Gilbert. The location was fantastic, really close to the Museumsquartier, which made it easy to explore the city. However, my room felt too small, and the noise from the street made sleeping a challenge. On the bright side, the breakfast was enjoyable with good coffee available throughout the day.
